Huffkins is a Bakery, Shop and Cafe with outlets in Burford and Witney. From its Craft Bakery in Burford, Huffkins produces its own speciality breads, cakes and confectionary for both retail and wholesale markets. Huffkins is a quintessentially British institution and has maintained a presence in the Cotswolds since the late 1800s.

100 years on, the bakery and cafe were acquired by Topsy Taee in 1989. With the support of her Senior Managers Angie Clark and Lorna Bennet, Topsy has developed the business into the retail and restaurant format we see today. In May of this year the business acquired its second outlet in Witney (formerly Bistro 35) where the Huffkins format has been successfully reproduced.

As an independent operator competing in an increasingly corporate market, Huffkins relies on the support of its local customers. Topsy Taee said: "It's for this reason that we try to ensure that everyone who visits us is treated individually and has a great experience. We may have cues of people out the door but we know that our reputation is only as good as our last customer and it's built on individuals choosing to return".

The Huffkins bakery counter and shop offer a huge range of freshly made produce ideal for lunch time takeaway. The freshly made sandwiches are hard to beat, made with Huffkins freshly baked breads and the soup made from scratch everyday in the kitchen (no packets or tins here), it’s literally to die for.

The beauty of Huffkins Cafe is its fast/casual dining format. Customers don’t feel committed to ordering a three course meal, if all you want is a properly made cappuccino and some time to relax, Huffkins is the place.
