1. TERMS & CONDITIONS 

1.1 Availability

We make all our cakes and biscuits by hand, so at busy times of the year such as Christmas and Easter, we occasionally run out. Likewise our teas and coffees come from parts of the world where supplies are easily disrupted. We do all we can to make sure you are satisfied, but we must say that everything on our website is offered for sale subject to availability. If we cannot supply anything we will make sure to let you know as soon as we can.

1.2. Product alterations

If for any reason we change the shape, contents or design of a product, we will contact you to check that you would like to proceed. Should you require it we will endeavor to offer you a suitable replacement item that would be of similar or even better quality at the same price. At this point you would of course be free to cancel your order. If you are not happy with the replacement item when it arrives, you can return it for a full refund – see our Returns Policy section for more information.

1.3. Delivery areas

We are only able to deliver to UK mainland addresses.

1.4. Pricing and VAT

Our prices include VAT where appropriate. We try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate. Due to the volatility of ingredient costs our prices may change from time to time. We will of course update prices on our website where relevant as soon as possible. Should we need to change a price before fulfilling an order you have placed then we will contact you as soon as we can to explain and give you the option to cancel your order.

1.5. Changes to your order

If you change your mind after placing an order then please call us on +44 (0)1993 822126. We will try to make reasonable adjustments for you wherever possible. Please bear in mind that it may not always be possible for us to cancel or change an order once bespoke production has begun or a parcel is in the possession of our couriers.

1.6. Order Cancellations

Under the Distance Selling Directive, you may also cancel your order within seven working days of delivery. However, this doesn’t apply to food and beverages or any item made specifically for you. To cancel your order and receive a refund, you must confirm this in writing and return the item within two weeks of receipt and in its original packaging to:

1.7. Trademarks

Please note ‘Huffkins’ and ‘Huffkins Bakery and Tearoom’ are registered trademarks of Freebrights Limited.

1.8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

From time to time we may need to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.

1.9. Substitutions

Please note from time to time we may need to substitute hamper and gift box items with items of equal or greater value. Hampers and gift boxes which include alcoholic drinks may only be ordered by customers aged 18 or over.

1.10. Allergens

Please be aware that all of our products are made in an environment where nuts are used. We make every effort to ensure contamination is avoided but we cannot guarantee that our products are safe for those with nut allergies. Please consult the ingredients lists on our packaging for further information on our ingredients.

 

2. RETURNS

We aim to provide a seamless shopping experience in our online shop. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong we will do our best to put things right.

2.1 Damaged Items

All our parcels are carefully packed by hand and we go to great lengths to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. But if your order is damaged in transit, we’ll collect it and replace it.

2.2 Delivery Charges and Other Services

If you are returning an item either because of an error on our part, damage, or simply because you are not completely satisfied, we will refund all delivery charges incurred by you both for the initial delivery and the cost of returning it. Please note that we may not refund delivery costs in other circumstances where we are not at fault.

2.3 Returns procedure

To arrange collection, please contact us giving the reason for the return. Any damaged goods would be collected at our expense and at your convenience. If you are returning an order because you are not satisfied, please tell us why and send it back to us in its original packaging. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

4. DELIVERY

We aim to get all parcels delivered within 7 working days. Often we are able to beat this target. However, this may vary at certain times of the year and with certain items where production times at our bakery affect our ability to ship immediately. We will notify you if we believe your order will take more than 7 working days to arrive.

We have designed a fee structure that we hope brings you good value for money and is easy to understand. Most of our products are delicate so we take a lot of care when packing your goods. We also invest in high quality packing materials to protect your order.

4.1 Delivery Weights

Online orders cannot exceed 120kg in weight. Please contact us if you would like to discuss a bulk or corporate order on +44 (0)1993 822126.

4.2 BFPO Addresses

We’re sorry but we are unable to accept orders to BFPO addresses online. If you wish to have an order delivered to a BFPO address please call us on +44 (0)1993 822126.

4.4 P.O. Boxes

Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

4.5 Delivery on a Specific Day

If it is important that your cake arrives on a particular day, for a birthday or anniversary for example, please call us on +44 (0)1993 822126. We will be able to tell you on what day of the week your order will arrive.

4.6 Incomplete or Inaccurate Addresses

We will attempt delivery to an address and postcode as you enter it and cannot accept liability for late or failed delivery due to an incorrect address. If you are unsure of an address or postcode please check it thoroughly before you place an order. Some postcodes may fall within additional surcharge areas and require an additional 2-3 working days above normal delivery times.

 

5. SPECIAL OFFERS

5.1 Discretion

Please note we reserve the right to change, withdraw, or cancel special offers at any time without notice. 

5.2 Vouchers

No Huffkins offer will apply to our vouchers, only to hard products.

5.3 Redemption

Please be aware that many of our special offers will be time limited and apply only to the online shop or to our high street stores. Please be sure to read all applicable terms fully to avoid disappointment.
